I didn't totally catch the dialogue between Sawyer and his victim.

The guy said he wasn't "Sawyer" but did he say that the "island Sawyer" was set up by the guy to whom the original Sawyer (the now dead one) owed money to? (did that make any sense?)

Remember what I said last week? About absolution for their guilt? It's all going just that way. I thought Lock's speech about the dog was great, and tied in perfectly with the hog representing the guy Sawyer killed for him.

Actually, the guy Sawyer killed was just someone that owed money to Hibbs(?). He played him, using his thirst for revenge to use him to get something he wanted. Played him. Just like I think they are all being played right now by some other force.

I'm telling you man, Ethan and the French chick aren't any more 'real' than Jack's dad was or the polar bears are. It's all part of some elaborate set up, but the who and why are the real questions.

Everyone could have brushed by Sawyer in Australia, since he is clearly the one with the greatest degree of real guilt. It would make sense that he was some sort of nexus for the whole thing, and perhaps Lock is the purist in some way.
